Our Mission & Vision

At Damascus Road Fellowship we want to encourage everyone to have an encounter with Jesus through worship, fellowship, Bible study and by reaching out to those outside the church. We are real people doing the real thing in the real world, seeing Jesus radically change lives!

Pastor Glenn Hejny

Glenn has been the pastor of DRF since its inception in the summer of 2010. He has an exuberant love for people and a passion for preaching and teaching the word of God. He and Stacy work as a team to teach, lead, serve and love the DRF family.
Both Glenn and Stacy were raised in Ennis and came to know Jesus through His grace and the power of His word. It is their heart’s desire that just as Paul had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, all who come to DRF will have their own life-changing encounter with Jesus.
They have been married for 33 years and have two grown children: Adam, with wife Haley, and Andrew, and one amazing grandson, Cole!
Pastor of Student Ministries Jack Riniker
Jack grew up in Citrus Heights, California, until a job change for his father drove him to Nampa, Idaho. In Nampa, he served at Grace Bible Church where he gathered years of youth volunteer experience and developed lifelong connections both with the student and staff. After graduating from Liberty University with his bachelors in Theology, he felt God calling him to seminary at Dallas Theological University, where he currently studies for his master’s in theology.

Jack loves all things athletic and thoughtful; his favorite pastimes are sports and writing. He hopes to use these opposing spheres of his life to connect with the youth at DRF to gain the influence and trust to deliver God’s word into their hearts and lives. Careful, deliberate, and calculated, Jack wishes to instill passion with truth, love with knowledge, and freedom with discipline. He wants the youth to accurately know, understand, and relate to the God of the universe and all that God has done for them, all the while having fun and deepening relationships with one another.
He and his wife Heather were married in 2018 and look forward to the exciting days ahead!

Children’s Ministry Director Alma Lopez

Born and raised in Ennis, Alma has always had a heart for children’s ministry, whether teaching Sunday school or volunteering at VBS. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management while working full time at Children’s Medical Center.

Before graduating, God reintroduced Joey and Alma with each other. After dating for over 1 and 1/2 years, they married in 2014 and merged their two families into one. Their family has since grown and now consists of 1 Heavenly child, 2 boys, 6 girls, and 1 beagle.

They have been part of the DRF family since mid-2016. God has made them into a team that loves each other and loves to give and serve wholeheartedly. They walk alongside one another and pray to instill those same gifts into every child the Lord sends their way. They know the importance of identity and freedom for all ages and hope to teach this along the way with the Word as the foundation and God-inspired, fun filled activities. Looking for more of Jesus versus themselves is at the center of it all.

The prayers, support and accountability of our elders are foundational to DRF. We are so thankful for them as they faithfully serve the staff and congregation week after week. Our elders are Mark Wisdom, Bill Wolaver
and Leonard Novak.
